What ever happened to bands like Celtic Frost? I mean creative metal bands that never stuck to one genre. I always wonder things like that. Have musicians gotten less creative in the last 20 years? Bands like Celtic Frost, Bathory, Death, and Atheist were so driven determined and creative, why cant bands now do things like that? I mean all we have now is this shitty metalcore, generic deathgrind metal, and kids doing "throwback" thrash metal, and of course all the giants of yesterday that are still together (or have re-united). Not saying all new music is bad, its just I've felt that modern metal has lost it's edge.
